Sarah came over a couple of days ago, TOTALLY elated. She told me that she had just had a lecture with this fantastic children's illustrator/artist Shaun Tan.

She presented me with a gift - a book of his - "The Red Tree". It's amazing.

I looked him up on the net, and even his website is unbelievable! totheTan-site. My sister then told me that she had studied The Red Tree in school last year (yr 9). I don't really know much about him - Sarah is the one with that knowledge (the way to sarah's blog). But i can tell you that these images are amazing.
Anyways, a recommendation that came to me, I am now recommending to you. People think of exceptional things, truly.

Exactly how talented do you have to be to come up with that image!?! pretty bloody talented... I seriously feel that. Pretty fantastic.
