NYC is very seriously the bomb. I think this place is amazing and people have been VERY FRIENDLY.
SHopping is Brilliant. Yesterday was my "let's do touristy things" day. I went to the UN and to the Statue of LIBERTE`.
Interestingly i said to Jess that it reminding me of Liberte` by Delacroix (which i HAPPENED TO SEE IN PARIS!!!!!!) and apparently that's kinda exactly the point.. soo woohoo for art appreciation integration into normal life!!
erm, ahh... did i mention the COLD?? because it is BLOODY COLD. omg i was sitting next to a woman from LA in her 70's. Okay i love older people, i really do. But i am about to make a prejudice here - I HATE AMERICAN OLDer PEOPLE. well at least the ones i have met. Now i havent had much contact, being young and all, but the ones i have met have been well elch.
because they stand in the airport queues and ASK what they will be serving for the meal. I MEAN REALLY it's not like you can CHANGE THE MENU so why hold everyone else UP IN THE LINE who is WAITING FOR LIKE FIVE HOURS TO GET CHECKED IN. like it's REALLY irritating.
Im sure im generalising and they are not all like that, but so far they have been the only ones i have met. the woman next to me was reading a COSMOPOLITAN from UK. Okay so she gave it to me to read but i swear the magazine is only full of ways to make you realise your life is not as good as it could be, if you listen to cosmos advice. WHAT IS A 70+ woman going to GET FROM COSMO?? I DONT KNOW. Seriously.. what she's gonna start wearing midriff tops with slingback court heels? i mean REALLY. is she going to put into action the TEN BEST WAYS TO PLEASE YOUR MAN ? that is not a movie i would like to see.

SO shopping. I love shopping. Im going to SOHO today.. woooooohooooooo yay for fun. Now i have realised that it is quite possible that i may acquire three new pairs of shoes. i am already carrying 17 kg which is a nightmare and i am going to have at least 5 more.. BUT I WILL DO IT. beauty is pain.
also let's face it, im only going to airports.. its not like india where i was throwing my bag onto buses and trucks and trains..
if it doesnt kill me,ill at least be stronger..
